This week's challenge was to find an inspiration piece again...this could be a pillow, bedspread, home decor, magazine, napkin, anything...and design a card around that inspiration. I find that I really like this type of challenge. It is showing me how to look at my surroundings and use them for color and pattern inspiration!On the left is a rug that I found in the Pier 1 Imports magazine. The background reminded me of a cowboy bandana, which led me to using the Wanted set, which led to using the medallion in that set. The medallion is stamped in Vanilla on the background. Then stamped on Very Vanilla in Night of Navy, Read Red. I used the Large Scallop Circle for the background, then 1-1/4 circle for the next layer and 1/2 circle for center layer. I used my piercer to punch through all the layers and added a red Rhinestone brad in the center. All the layers are popped with dimensionals.
Simple...but I like it!
